Inscribed in the Egyptian agro-ecologies are countless histories – those of modernization, continuous land reforms, artificial fertilization, insect migration, peasant activism. These historiographies have a decentralizing impact. They resist the neoliberal agro-management model, which has continuously eroded the rights of the peasants.
